MEET THE TEAM
TAYLOR PENLEY
Taylor is originally from Charlotte, NC and relocated to Charleston, SC in 2020 when he started Washed By the Water Detailing. He now lives in James Island with his wife, three children and golden retriever. Taylor has over 12 years of detailing experience and that will only continue to grow as he loves to learn and gain knowledge in the industry. He really enjoys going to the beach, spending time with family, and above all, growing his relationship with Jesus.
TYLER DOSTER
Tyler joined Washed By the Water in November of 2021 and has been a huge part of our growth. He now resides in Mount Pleasant with his wife, daughter and chocolate lab. In addition to spending time with his family, you can find him cheering on the Texas Longhorns, hunting, fishing in the beautiful Charleston waterways and enjoying Lewis Barbecue. His favorite Bible verse is Joshua 1:9 and his favorite quote is "A mans respect is not earned by what he speaks about. It is earned by what he does when nobody is looking."

MIKE GEMEREK
Mike grew up in the small town of Ballston Spa in Upstate New York. In the Fall of 2021, he and his wife Bridgette relocated to the Charleston area, along with their two dogs, Mac and Sadie. As die-hard Buffalo Bills fans, Mike and his family never miss a game. When he's not cheering on the Bills, you can find him relaxing by the pool, mowing the lawn, walking the dogs, or putting for par at his favorite local golf course.
TYLER LEAGANS
My name is Tyler Leagans. I was born in Florence, SC but raised between both Charlotte and Charleston. I graduated from West Ashley Highschool in 2022. In my free time, I like to fish, hang out with friends and watch South Carolina Gamecock football.
